ATELIERSUITES

When NU Branding Studio brought me onto the AtelierSuites project, it was clear this wasn’t just another co-working brand. Under Brookfield Properties’ COWRKS umbrella, AtelierSuites would cater to an ultra‑premium clientele—entrepreneurs, creative directors, and boutique firms seeking more than just four walls and a desk. My brief was to distill that promise of exclusivity, craft, and community into a visual identity that felt bespoke yet scalable.

Crafting the Atelier Narrative

I began by exploring the essence of an atelier: a place of craft, collaboration, and quiet confidence. Through sketches and wordmark experiments, I developed a typographic system that married classic serif elegance with modern architectural precision—each letterform nodding to atelier tools and studio layouts. I then layered in a refined color palette of warm ivory, slate gray, and muted gold accents, evoking marble floors, metal fixtures, and curated art installations. These elements formed the backbone of a visual language designed to feel as tactile as the spaces themselves.

Presenting a Living Concept

The version you see in my portfolio is a wordmark concept, crafted to demonstrate how the identity could flex across signage, digital touchpoints, interior wayfinding, and stationery. While this wordmark hasn’t yet been locked in as the final approved mark, I created sample mockups—exterior building signage, member cards, and web headers—to show how it would elevate every brand moment. These explorations helped NU and the Brookfield team envision AtelierSuites not just as a workspace, but as a curated experience.

A Blueprint for the Future

Although the identity is still evolving, this concept crystallized what AtelierSuites could be: a meeting point of heritage craftsmanship and forward‑thinking design. It reinforced for me that great branding is an ongoing dialogue between idea and iteration—always open to refinement, but anchored in a clear vision. I look forward to seeing where this identity goes next.
