Ahmed Spins Coachella 2025

As a lifelong electronic-music fan, it was surreal when rising star Ahmed Spins invited Millinsky and I to design his official Coachella 2025 merch. Born and raised in Casablanca, Ahmed wanted every piece to tell the story of his journey—leading with the phrase “From Casablanca to California.” My task was to channel his North African roots and surf‑culture passions into designs worthy of the desert’s biggest stage.

Crafting Two Desert Anthems

I developed two core graphics for the drop. The first, printed on a deep‑black tee, paired stylized palm‑tree silhouettes and a sun‑drenched island motif with the call to action “Spin Your Dreams into Reality.” This design leans into beachside freedom and Coachella’s festival spirit.

The second, on a crisp white shirt, paid homage to Ahmed’s surf obsession—wave patterns, board‑inspired lines, and the signature “From Casablanca to California.” Together, they formed a cohesive collection that felt both personal and instantly iconic.

Under the Coachella Lights

When Ahmed rocked these tees during his Week 1 set, it was a thrill to see my work live in Indio’s dust and daylight. Festival‑goers snapped photos, and fans on Instagram (like his post at https://www.instagram.com/p/DIb3HkSPiLH) shared the merch in action—proof that design can amplify a moment and connect an artist to their audience.

When Dreams Take the Stage

This project reminded me that great merch is more than decoration—it’s storytelling dressed in fabric. Seeing Ahmed spin in the desert, wearing visuals born from his own journey, was a milestone in my career. It’s proof that when design and music collide, the result can be unforgettable.
